Luis Strozzi (1891 -1966)
Pintor chileno con un talento único para retratar paisajes de naturaleza. Si bien recibió la guía de Nicanor González Méndez en la Escuela Nocturna para obreros de la Sociedad de Fomento Fabril, su desarrollo como artista fue principalmente siendo autodidacta. Siempre se declaró admirador de Alberto Valenzuela Llanos y Juan Francisco González. También destacó con sus cuadros de naturaleza muerta. En su época fue muy reconocido por la crítica más bien clásica y conservadora y a la vez criticado por sus contemporáneos, quienes describían su trabajo netamente imitativo y falto de interpretación. Décadas después de morir sus cuadros resurgieron ante los ojos de las personas y su talento cobró vida y se revaloró su maestría y sensibilidad para retratar la naturaleza.
