DESCRIPCIÓN
Oil on canvas, of European origin, signed by Georges Brasseur (1880-1950), a Belgian painter based in Colombia. The work depicts a rural landscape in which a group of cows are grazing. The work captures the tranquility of the scene and has a very interesting composition of light and textures that ranges from the darkest and most somber left corner, loaded with green tones resulting from the vegetation, to a luminous horizon, loaded with yellow tones. Another distinctive element of the work is the central figure, a cow staring attentively directly at the person portraying this scene or at the viewer. The work has a spectacular wooden frame carved in reliefs and decorations, painted in elegant gold.
