DESCRIPCIÓN

Carlos Alegría Salinas, painter and draftsman. He was born in Putaendo, Aconcagua Province, Chile, on July 18, 1882, and died in Santiago on September 22, 1954.

A contemporary painter known for his unique style that fuses elements of surrealism and figuration. His works often feature figures and landscapes that seem suspended between reality and fantasy, with a vibrant color palette that conveys great emotional intensity. Alegría has experimented with different techniques, from oil paint to acrylic, and is characterized by a highly personal and experimental approach to painting.

It's important to highlight that his work also reflects a profound exploration of themes such as identity, human nature, and the environment. His art has been exhibited in various galleries and collections, standing out for its ability to evoke an enigmatic and stimulating atmosphere.
