Oil on canvas by Chilean painter Reinaldo Villaseñor, depicting a coastal landscape viewed from the sea towards the shore, with a few boats on the water and colorful houses in one corner. The work is in an Impressionist style, very much in keeping with the influence of this movement on Villaseñor. The choice of colors is bold and vibrant, making the technique and brushstrokes stand out, going beyond mere imitation, and transforming the reflection of the orange sky on the water into a vibrant gesture. The painting is framed in carved wood with reliefs and finished with gold paint.
