An oil on canvas, possibly of Chilean origin and signed “Velázquez,” depicting a landscape of sailboats in the style of Pacheco Altamirano, with an expressive use of paint and brushstrokes, giving the sailboats volume and movement. Greens predominate in the background, while shades of red and blue serve as a counterpoint to highlight elements such as the central sailboat and several figures, likely fishermen, unloading their catch. On the horizon, we see a coastline dotted with houses, and above it, the sky. The painting has a simple wooden frame with a gilded inner border.
