A beautiful Heriz Persian rug, originating from the East Azerbaijan province of Iran. This rug is made of high-quality wool, handwoven and hand-dyed with traditional vegetable dyes. The design is characterized by its geometric pattern. Unlike other more curved Persian designs, Heriz rugs are knotted with perpendicular, parallel, and oblique lines, forming a large central medallion with prominent contours and corners. This piece combines this design with a predominance of reds, with details in blue and yellow, and counterpoints in white.
Dimensions: 320 x 230 cm.
