A beautiful mid-20th-century Persian painting, hand-painted on ivory, depicting three horsemen riding across a valley while playing polo. Both the vegetation and the riders' attire are rendered with meticulous detail and delicacy. This small-format work, executed with fine brushstrokes, is complemented by a striking wooden frame adorned with micromosaic marquetry designs.
Dimensions: Frame 17 x 22 cm high and Artwork 8 x 12 cm high.
Condition: One of the corners of the frame has a missing piece.
