Beautiful Persian rug Heriz, of Iranian origin, made of hand-knotted and dyed wool. Its designs, passed down by nomadic Persian tribes, are characterized by striking geometric shapes with symmetrical and angular motifs, unlike other more curved Persian designs. This rug features a large central medallion, outlined in a dark blue that draws the eye to that area, a garden scene with an orange background, geometric motifs, and ivory corner details. Its thick border creates a geometric repetition that reuses the colors of the composition, forming a braid that frames the mesmerizing inner weave.
