DESCRIPCIÓN

Oil painting by the painter Rafael Correa Muñoz, born in 1872 in Santiago, Chile.

He began his artistic practice at a very young age, participating in workshops led by Giovanni Mochi and later by Pedro Lira. Furthermore, when he was just twelve years old, he received his first award in an official competition, an Honorable Mention that paved the way for his recognition, culminating four years later in winning the top prize at the Santiago Official Salon. After completing his secondary studies, he enrolled as a regular student at the Academy of Fine Arts in the capital.
