Spanish porcelain figure Zaphir 'Praying Girl'

Spanish porcelain figure Zaphir 'Praying Girl'

Sold out
IP1461

Delicate porcelain figurine from the Spanish brand Zaphir. The figurine represents a girl in a nightgown praying, lying down.

This brand, created by the legendary Lladró sculptor José Puche, operated between 1978 and the mid-1980s. It was later closed and its models transferred to Lladró's other sister brand, Nao. This is a peculiarity in the history of Spanish porcelain figurines, as it is unclear how authoritative José Puche's undertaking was. Furthermore, the company's short existence makes the pieces somewhat rare.

Material: Porcelain.

Origin: Spain.

Dimensions: 18 x 8 x 13 cm high.
