A beautiful solid bronze sculpture depicting a baobab tree, with owls and other birds perched on its branches. The fruit of the baobab tree, known as "pain de singe" in French and "bouye" in Wolof, can also be seen growing on the branches. Possibly Senegalese, 1960s.
Dimensions: 40 cm wide x 44 cm deep x 50 cm high.
