DESCRIPCIÓN

Vicente Rioseco, engraver. Born in Concepción, Chile, on January 21, 1951.

He studied printmaking with Nemesio Antúnez, the professor and founder of Taller 99. In 1979, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Printmaking from the School of Art at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He then traveled to France, invited by the French government, to study at the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.

Between 1978 and 1982 he was a professor of Engraving at the Catholic University of Chile and since 1997 he has taught the same discipline at the Finis Terrae University.
