Bronze sculpture signed by Auguste Moreau (1834-1917), a French sculptor and painter known for his realist style. His works were especially popular during the reign of Napoleon III in the 19th century. In this piece, we see a mother sheltering her child, who in turn carries a small animal in his arms. The artist captures the urgency and concern of both figures, as well as the texture of their clothing.

Dimensions: 22 x 22 x 54 cm high.

Condition: It has a crack at its base. Minor restorations.
