An intriguing chryselephantine bronze figure of French origin, signed by the French sculptor PE Goureaud, depicting the French film and theater actor Max Dearly, who worked in this profession from 1903 until his death in 1943. In this piece, the actor is dressed as a horseman, wearing a black suit and cap. His face and hands are made of bone adhered to the bronze.
