DESCRIPCIÓN
Oil on canvas, of European origin, by the artist Emile Boivin (1846-1920), a French artist known for his paintings of Middle Eastern scenes and landscapes. The work depicts a desert scene, through which a nomadic caravan travels, carrying all their belongings on their camels. The work beautifully captures the colors of the sky, in shades of blue and pink, suggesting a sunset. Also notable are the striking colors of the fabrics that dress the tribe and their loads against the white desert sand. The work has a carved wooden frame with relief decorations, finished in a golden color that reflects its age.
