DESCRIPCIÓN
Oil on wood by the Spanish artist Alonso Pérez (1881-1914), depicting a lady seated in a garden, gazing straight ahead, next to a gentleman. He appears to be speaking to her, but she does not look at him, maintaining her pose. The scene is meticulously painted, delicately capturing not only the textures of the lace and ruffles of her dress, the folds of the fabrics, and the gestures of the figures, but also the textures of the landscape and sky. The work is framed in a magnificent wooden box carved in relief, finished with elegant gilt paint.
