An ancient Kelim Sumak Kasak rug, made of handwoven wool and dyed with plant-based dyes. Originally created by villagers in western Azerbaijan, northern Armenia, and southern Georgia, Kazak rugs emerged in the early 18th century. The finest examples of Sumak also come from the Caucasus, northwestern Iran, and Central Asia. Its design is distinguished by a combination of geometric motifs, including four diamond-shaped medallions, octagons with abstract patterns, rosettes, and rhombuses. The rug is dyed with details in blue, green, and pale yellow against a red background. Its borders feature geometric patterns, primarily in blue and indigo.

Dimensions: 360 x 300 cm.

Condition: In good condition, although there are signs of wear typical of its considerable age.
